Just about 80% of the traffic and (Bing/Yahoo) about 15% and all the other SE's together 5% That adds up to 100% google has complete monopoly on search/Adsense/Adwords.. They are the Internets God/Goddess..
Search Engine is the best source of traffic..... the best SE is Google...most visitor came to my through Big G.... I just got less than 5% visitor from yahoo
it all depends on the search term and where you rank 80% of search traffic is generated from google, so people tend to focus their seo efforts there
All factors being equal (rank for particular search term on each search engine), in my experience I've received over 75% of my organic search traffic from big G! The fact of the matter is, Google dominates the minds of users...it's not a word in the Oxford dictionary or summin'. Keep that in mind. You no longer "search," you "Google" something.
i think nearly 80% traffic comes from google.because its a most popular and largest search engine throughout the online world.
To clarify, 80% of search traffic comes from Google. A well-designed campaign should not depend on search alone for traffic generation. When trying to quantify the value of a link from a search engine, you do need to value non-search traffic before over-valuing search traffic. Also, search traffic can be fickle, especially Google search traffic since the advent of Caffeine.
Search Engine Searches results are given here http://cirnews.wordpress.com/2010/10/16/comscore-releases-september-2010-u-s-search-engine-rankings/
Did it go up? All other sources suggest Google gets around 65% of the searches. Regardless, it gets the most.
And if you're high on google rank, then you're probably high on other search engines too. But the answer to more important guestion "How much worth is there in a Google Link?" can vary extremely much, it depends wholly on how high you are ranked AND how many searches your terms get in a day, and there's some tools around that help to find out those numbers, like https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal . Although some sites get almost all of their traffic from google, there's also many big sites that only get small part of traffic directly from search engines.
