how much worth are sites hosted on free hosting with high PR

For how much i can sell my sites(username and pwd) if they are hosted on free hosting service . they dont even have Tlds but get around 5000 uniques per day .

its something like ..... http://abcdef.x10hosting.com ???

please dont give me suggestion for going for cpa or other such program .

i just want to make and sell such sites

um, not much, id recommend buying a decent domain, developing it into that kind of traffic than selling it as a viable way to make money instead.

One of my friend makes such site . he got no idea about DP . i was just wondering if i can buy those at cheap rate from him and sell those sites here

 

A good clean domain name is very important, So that would decrease the value alot.

 

i don't know much but i think this might help. maybe someone else might have some better suggestion.

since x10hosting is using 'cpanel' control panel you can register for a pay share hosting that offer cpanel.
that way you can transfer the site fairly easily (with mysql database).
some host i know that offer cpanel are hostgator, downtownhost and hostingpuppy ($1/month *pretty cool*)

additionally, you can register a dot com for fairly cheap at namecheap with private whois ($9.29)
now all you need to do is 301 redirect the current subdomain to the new domain and sell your site.

on the other hand, you can offer "free new domain" with the sale for your potential buyers and just add $10 extra to the asking price. this way you don't have to deal with the transferring process of the new domain.

lastly, to answer your original question about the value of a website being on a free share host. i don't think it should matter where the site is at. buyers are looking for traffic and content if you have what they want they will pay good money for it.

I think you can keep the free hosted site for the time being, and direct its traffice to its copied one that offer more to the visitors. Need a very attractive banner on you free site to do so. On your old site, you state that you will move to the new site in the near future. Once your new site become stable in term of traffic, you can sell it.
