how much money can be made with 10k visitors on a monthly basis. i am targeting adsense for the start. But from what i have observed with my sites, only a meagre $30-$50 i can make from adsense. any other way to push this revenue so that it would make $100/monthly. Any advice much appreciated!
There are too many factors to really answer this question properly. Your niche, ad placement and a slew of other factors will determine how much you can make. 10k visitors to site A could earn site A $1000 while the same 10k visitors to site B could earn site B $0. Give us some more information and we will be able to give a better estimate, albeit still a very vague one.

It all depends on your niche - daily pageviews, and where the traffic comes from. Have you looked into kontera yet?
As others mentioned, it depends on yr niche etc But generally, assuming your CTR is 1% , you get 100 clicks per mth. To make $100 per mth, you would need medium expensive keywords of average $1 per click. Most niches pay cents like 1 cent, 10 cents, 20 cents Of 'cos you could also try to increase yr CTR to 2% or more by enhancing your ad positioning etc
Alright, now you have traffic. But then there's couple of other factors too: 1) how many clicks are you getting? 2) and how much you get paid per click? If you aren't getting many clicks, then perhaps you should try to bring that factor up. Try different ad placement (the more top the better), try different colors (bluelinks are good). If you aren't getting paid well then perhaps you need to consider changing keywords you use (like, more keyword-intensive texts) to see more related content in ads? That's for starters
