I have a new website that offers a way to watch a certain show online for free. I was just wondering, since this website does not have any backlinks, what effect would a PR2, PR3, PR4 or PR5 backlink have on my website? There is not much competition for this show however, and with just basic keyword optimization my website is already on page 5 (and only a few days old). I hope some SEO masters can answer me!
You can't expect to see rankings improve just by back linking. You need to ensure that your page has good meta description, title, keywords in place. Also the h1, h2, strong, em, underline formatting in place. Don't forget the keyword density as well. If you are presently ranking somewhere above page 3 or so, back links will help to push your page higher. However a few things to keep in mind: 1. Do not back link using the same keyword all the time. Diversify so that it looks natural to google. Many people tend to back link using the same keyword and it gets ignored by google. 2. Use a mix of dofollow and nofollow links. 3. Use social bookmarking as well so as to make the seo strategy more diverse. Hope this helps. P.S: I offer PR3, PR4, PR5 dofollow back link service via blog comments. PM me if you are interested.
I have all keywords, descriptions and page titles all optimized (as best I can) so all I lack now is backlinks and social bookmarking.
You may also try submission of press releases using keyword rich content on the web pages, so that your website can be easily crawled over by the search engine spiders.
And also article submission also using keyword rich content too.. Is just like the press release only different is that you will submit them in article sites..
Backlink will definitely bring your site up in SERP. Do it gradually. And yes, do some PR submission, article submission, blog commenting, social bookmarking, etc. Do it gradually and your site will definitely go up in SERP gradually as well.
Backlink matters if it's relevant and coming from high quality websites. There is no use of irrelevant backlinks. Try to build backlinks in natural way, don't repeat keywords, hit from different relevant keywords.
Back link is important for SEO , but it does not the whole of SEO . Search Engine will consider many other opinions . So , that is why it happened .
I understand the jist of most of these techniques however I'm new to blog commenting. Is is just comenting on a similar blog detailing the website and linking?
