    check if it is a fake-PR, because no google backlinks is a strong indication that it might be fake

    otherwise if it is a real PR7, then i would say it is worth atleast 350$-700$

    What does it mean to have a fake PR...and how can that happen? Also what's the best way to see if the PR is fake?

    i prefer to check the PR manually be entering the name in google and to see if the first result shown by google is from the same domain or some other domain ..

    anyways, for newbies this is a nice tool http://checkpagerank.net/ which will clearly tell u if it is fake or real

    True PR7's with backlinks will cost in excess of $1500.

    If it has little or no backlinks its unlikely the PR will remain for long, and paying PR7 money for something that wont be a PR7 in a few months isnt smart.

    No link in google, is the site indexed at least else it is fake PR, do not buy it.

    Depends on how good the domain is.
    Keyword strong, niche'. A lot of factors, but it ain't going to be cheap.
    No body sells a PR 7 domain for peanuts, it's worth a few hundred a month in link sales alone.
    Only someone who has no clue, or someone really disparate would sell PR 7 for $1500.
