How much will it costs?

Just wondering of how will it costs to build a site with atleast 1k traffic a day? Anyone

 

Making/building a site is different from managing a site.
If you want to get 1K traffic a day, you should invest you money , energy to manage and promote your site.
If you would like to pay someone to do it for you, It may cost you much money.

 

You will need to buy dedicated server web hosting , now about how much it will take to build the website depends on how many pages you want , what all scripts you want to install , is it flash based or php ,etc.

 

money: domain: $10 for a year
hosting: ~$60-100 for shared hosting for a year

the cost really isn't money, its time you put in

 

You definately won't need a dedicated server, at least not to start with but if you wanted to be safe go with a reseller account or a vps, but check forums such as webhostingtalk for host reviews, as unfortunately a lot of hosts on here would sooner take your money and let the customers fend for themselves rather than give support.

Advertising could be the biggest cost as hosting costs and the domain costs are fairly negligable it just depends on the type of site, you wont get 1k traffic straight away either. Build up related backlinks on sites with good pr, if you have to many unrelated links you might get slapped by google, that will help build up traffic.

 

I can spend lots of time on building it.. I just want to know how much it costs.. Is that all? And can you suggest me where should i get hosting plan? thanks

 

If you know how to do it than it should not cost you a penny. get free wordpress domain and promote it yourselve. this way you can do it free of cost. If you want to spend money no one can tell the exact amount it will require.

 

No i mean i want a domain name myself not with name.wordpress.com or name.blogspot.com or something like that.. I have a blog which gives me cents a day and very low traffic

 

It might not cost you much to make it but it will cost you alot of time and money to promote it

 

I can promote sites with my own style so no need money on hiring someone to promote for me.

The traffic depends upon your content .. content of the site..

Only for proxies and other sites content is not that much important..

Once content is good .visitors will increase and at that time you need to spend for promotion of your site..

if you do n't have good quality content then alll those promotions may go waste..

 

If you know how to do it than it wont cost you anything other than time.

 

It takes nearly 1 year time and much money is to spend on site for traffic.

1k uniques per day doesn't requires dedicated server.

Now getting a website to get 1000 visitors per day is easy if you just give your dedicated time or if you have money then you can get others to do this for you.
