i want to buy Vbulletin but how much does it cost? if i want to order what site? is there a vbulletin which is not expensive? please let me know.

does Vbulletin is easy to install ?
is there a free Vbulletin ?

i want to have a forum and i have hosting and domain now. but my prob is i need vbulletin. thats too expensive i don't have money.

what if someone will give me a script for vbulletin. is that functional ?

 

VBulletin took me an hour to install -- the actual process takes only about 5 minutes if you know what you're doing. There is no free vBulletin, but there are free message board scripts

You need to own a license to use vBulletin. Otherwise, you are rulling it illegally.

You can use free application if you could not buy VB. Free Software also not bad. You can use Phpbb, smf, mybb.

 

Don't run VBulletin without a license, period. If you need a message board badly, either use a free alternative or shell out $160 like the rest of us

If you need a forum there are plenty of other FREE possibilities like phpBB, punBB and others.

 

DO NOT USE A UNLICENSED VB. DISADVANTAGES:
#1- The version may have been altered and your server might be at risk of backdoor scripts 99% are!
#2- If detected by Jelsoft (vb company), your site, your host, your server and everything that related to your site will be..uh..banned and taken down.
#3- You will not be able to get latest patch or updates from them.

There is version 3.7 coming to come out but there is no need to wait as you have full 1 year support and updates after you buy it officially. So, you can update at anytime and without any hassle, about less than 5 minutes to upgrade.

1. Leased. Valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

2. Owned. Valid for lifetime. (Though you have to pay 35$ or so, to get updates after 1 year of purchase)
Costs 160$

Yes, it's easy to install, configure and use.
And no. There is no [legal] free version of vBulletin available.

 

If you want to have a forum, why don't you use a free one(SMF, PHPBB etc) even you don't have money

 

IMO, vBulletin is actually the best forum software.

Watch it as an investment, not as an expense.

No one knows when the official 3.7 is comming out, only jelsoft. Asking else where will just be people gussing.
