Hi Offering some web tools for free is a good way to get more inbound links to your website. Let is say we have a tool programmed in tool.php has a link back to my site, and we need to offer it for free but it cost us a lot and we don’t want to reveal the source code, is using JavaScript inclusion will have the same value in terms of getting inbound link “<script src="http://www.mywebsite.com/tool.php?js"></script>†That means webasters can use the tool through my site using JavaScript inclusion,
javascript links imo dont have the same weight. I might be wrong here though. I know google and other search engines have problems reading anything contained inside javascript.
Not quite correct, Google it seems now reads javascripts, atleast simple ones. I have seen it happen on two sites of mine.
Interesting. This must be new. What is the page with the javascript? Maybe just post the script on the forums for others to see?
Google can read that script. But why you don't do as iwebtools do? By that way, you get links and also no need to worry about script disclosure.
note :- googel cant read JS files . so if any links are placed inside js file they can read and you dont get any benifite of it. if you need free one way links you can get them at www.tradeweblinks.com thank you keyur parmar
In response to the original post - When offering the script, just tack an html link onto the bottom of the code that you give the webmaster to copy and paste. Holla.
