How much untill $5k?

How much untill my new site www.boardingscene.com will be worth big money such as $5k? I have alot of work into it along with tons of software such as its toolbar, and custom forum plugins.

The traffic has been steadily increasing, and the forum is growing more and more every day.

What is it worth now, and what will it be worth later?

I do want to sell, but most likely it wonr be for 5-6 months.

    Thanks!

It will be worth 5k when it makes $500 per month.

By the time you realize it's worth $5k hopefully you'll have realized you don't want to sell it.

actually I believe you can sell it for $5000 if it can make that kind of money in 12-24 months. :)

It all really depends on a willing buyer who sees the potential and is willing to buy that price for it.

The answer to that question is actually pretty simply really.

As soon as you find someone who is willing to pay $5k for it.

Patience is always the key when developing sites. Keep adding good content, promote your site, do link exchanges and leave it to time. With a bit of luck (being at the right place at the right time), you could reach your target sooner then you expect. Good Luck ! :)

LMao I know about the whole DP thing, but I did that on purpose. I took out my keywords in the tags for "boarding scene" and replaced them with things like "skateboard, snowboard, surf". THe only person that would search for "boarding Scene" is someone who was actually looking for my site, not for search results.

I actually am working on a new contest too, I just havent got it together yet.

I was going to do something along the line of a free peice of skatebaord equipment, signed by a few pros I know.

I just will have to get the word out about the contest.

Also, the toolbar is helping people stay on the site as well.

Anyone know what it is worth right now?

It is making $5 a day on adsense, but I really dont put the ads in places people really click them. I try not to spam the members.

IF it was based on a 12 month profit, would that mean it is worth about $2000 With the vbulletin license and the VbSeo license?

It all depends on traffic and revenue, really. And of course members, active members, and post count totals. :D

Yeah, sorry about that... I guess I wasnt really thinking about how much I posted my url. I will definately lay back on that.

    Anyways, about the site...

While I was banned from dp in the past week, I spent the time working on my sites seo, did a bunch of link building (125 sites), worked on my sites myspace account some (255 friends now), and I submitted my site to about 75 rss feed sites.

It seems like my traffic has gone up a good bit, I just hope it stays that way.

Today looks like its going to be 200th thread, and 125th member...Sweet!
