How much traffic?

I have 2 questions to ask you :

1- I want to know the average traffic to get $10 perday?
2- Text ads and image ads, which one the better?

1. depends on your niche, but in my experience at least 2.000 uniques per day

2. in my experience text ads are better

 

- for my experience 1500-1800 impressions for $10 but it depends on your niche

Text ads are almost certainly always better. As for traffic, it depends on the value of clicks and CTR. I guess that doesn't help much, but thats how it always is.

 

what type of category will you make? i think this is an important criteria for the earning

 

I have also learned in my short time of working with adsense that ad placement is also a HUGE part of it because my site getting 100 visitors a day was making me then one of my sites that got 5000 visitors a day

 

Mine runs about 1800 for $10

 

Some days I got less traffic and more earnings and other days less earnings !

Most of the time repeated visitors can't give us more ; they simply use our service and got off !

 

It depends a lot on where your traffic comes from. Social bookmarking sites can get you a lot of traffic but you need 10,000 to 20,000 plus to reach $10 a day depending on your niche. If you get natural search engine traffic or from good advertising, you could make it on 2000 to 3000.

 

To get $10 a day on average it will probably take you around 50 pageviews to 100,000 pageviews.
