How much traffic did you get last month from web 2.0 like social (bookmarking) websites. Like digg, del.icio.us, stumbleupon etc.? From which website is the majority of that traffic? For me, I got about 3000 uniques, mostly from stumbleupon (80%) and del.icio.us (20%). Stumbleupon traffic sucks, so far.
I'm not seeing any traffic from the social networking sites. My site is underdeveloped so I believe I need to continue building a readership or get something catchy noticed by chance someday to get things started.... so I hope anyway.
Hi i discovered the power of digg.com and got an easy 50 unique visitors in a few minutes from one article. But however i don't know if i will use it perhaps google will give me a red flag if they say a to high increase in my traffic.
none from either last month. this month however i am launching a couple sites which will hit both digg and del.icio.us pretty huge.
Not many. I used to submit all my blog posts to some of the larger bookmarkers and so got tons of traffic. Some has converted to regular readers, but I haven't done so in a while.
I have really never got much traffic from social network sites. I have done alright with Stumbleupon though. I normally get around 1,000 - 3,000 uniques a month and some of them converts into regular visitors.
good for you guys, I dont think I get enough traffic from social networks, traffic comes from social forums and craigslist
A friend that made #1 on Digg just last week got about 20K uniques in 36 hours or so. He had a great viral link that made "For Dummies" bookcovers that you can put in sigs, etc.
One of my sites has been "buzzed" on stumbleupon I think - in the last 7 hours I have now received 828 unique visitors Previously, other sites of mine were getting less than 10 visits a day from the likes of digg and deli.cio.us
I would be interested to know how you go about getting traffic from Craigslist - they have pretty good anti spam measures in place I understand?
