For my new blog which is a month old, my worst day was about 30 and best day was about 3000. Average over the last week is about 150 but it's growing pretty fast.
My blog is anemic at 1-2 uniques a week. I can't seem to get listed in Yahoo or Google and get zero traffic from blogger. Go figure.
I moved mine from BlogSpot about a month ago to host myself. It's been a chore getting readers to move to the new site, submitting my URL/RSS to the big engines and the top55 list, and so on. Right now, I'm getting 10-15 uniques a day and it seems to be building at a decent pace. I'm updating daily, but I'm still new to all this RSS and SEO stuff, so I'm not altogether sure that I've done everything correctly. Google's been good to me so far, but still no Yahoo listing (other than feed traffic from My Yahoo and directory listings). Any tips would be appreciated. The JagPot - jagpot.com
geniosity, don't worry. your page will become famous soon enough... when i started i had 5, and it stayed that way for few months.
I love digital point... Since I've started here, I've had a lot of curious people coming to see my pages. AND I've started appearing quite highly in Search Results... Luck? As Gary Player once said, "The harder I work, the luckier I get". Does anyone even know who Gary Player is???
Hey Geniosity - It's a nice blog you have there... Some nice tips (I'm currently moving so it helps ) Who's Gary Player?
HI SEBasic. Gary Player is one of the old South African golfers. Apparently he was pretty good, but I'm not that into golf. If you've heard of Ernie Els, when he started playing the PGA tour they said he could be the next Gary Player. Thanks for the compliments on the blog. Glad it could help.
I knew that Gary Player was a South African golfer even though I don't play golf. I think he has a cool name.
8000 uniques is nice. It's funny though, I have low traffic sites on good keywords that make much more $ than higher traffic sites with cheaper keywords.
