How much traffic is too much?

I have an idea for a site to earn some quick adsense cash but how much visitors is too much? i know how to get thousands of visitors but if i create a site one day and boom 10,000 visitors show up will i get banned?

what if i could spread it out to about 500 a day is that still in the red zone?

 

it's really going to depend on how you are getting that traffic more than how much you get.. if it's legitimate, and not from spamming or anything else that Google does not like, it should not matter how much you get.

 

lets say its a kind of advertising... would that still get me banned?

 

the "kind of" part would have me concerned..

 

well i guess it woudl come from a mail out kind of thing. or how exactly does google define spam? or bad traffic?

 

Mass email advertising is not allowed. If I remember right, if you get a huge amount of email traffic, and google sees the traffic coming from that source, they will most likely define it as spam.

 

ugh! wheres the loop hole at! wheres the line in the sand that lets me bring illegal visitors over my boarder! i have the ultimate site for adsense but i need visitors quick so what would be a good clean what to get huge visitors?

 

I'm not sure if Mass email advertising is not allowed.. If you have a huge list and point them to one of your latest post, its as good as "email advertising".

You cannot embed your adsense in the emails, this is what Google stresses on ... Correct me if I'm wrong.

well yeah i know that but this is kind of a MFA site. so patience doesn't work to well considering ill have like 20 of them and it would take months to spend time advertising then to wait for a ROI.

 

Stop making MFA sites and make good sites that add value to the Internet?

I'm quite sure that if your CTR rate suddenly increases a lot (say from 1 to 20%), this will raise some red flags and adsense may investigate the traffic your site more in detail..

They won't ban you just because of one day boom. Digg effect would kill many sites then .

 

you'll not get banned as long as your visitor is real visitor, like organic visitor,
but if the fisitor came form a kind like blogexplotion, sure you'll get banned soon..

 

google hate autosurf visitors , don't use this sytem

 

Depends what causes the "boom"

 

Why don't you just buy advertising on websites for the service you're offering, that way you get legit visitors?
