based on my niche 2k traffic can give you $5-8 earnings day maybe you need to receive traffic around 3-4k/day to reach your $10/day target.. Maybe I should set this as my goal too..
on an average, you got to get atleast 1000 visitors per day to make $10 per day. I am talking about an average site with good optimization.
It depends on your niche and how well you have placed your ads. I have sites that make that and they have different traffic amounts.

It is really a complicated thing to know exatly how much traffic you need... You have to target the right keywords and keyphrases that pay the most per click... It also depends on the positioning of the actual ads, and the kind & sizes of them! This really influence the amount of clicks you will receive! You could have 10,000 visitors per day, but if you don't do the right stuff with the subjects mentioned above, you will not get even those $10.... Try optimazing your site for AdSense and for search engines at the same time! You should also try to market it and advertise it using differente techniques so that you get faster results! It depends on a number of variables, the biggest one being your niche. If you are in a niche with low paying keywords, you could need 10,000 clicks, while in a high paying budget it could be 100 clicks. Search on google for highest paying niches, there should be some results.

Not all visitor leave click, min u need 1000 visitors per day then u can earn 10$ per day or more than 10. Its not an easy task. Few years back when i was in tech niche i got clicks +1$ and other days i got 0.01$ too. Luck and hardwork matters.
The earning ratio is lot depended on the niche and also on kind of adsense placement... because if your niche is good then may be 3 clicks will make your day... or may be even 10-20 clicks... but if your niche is not so good.. then even 100clicks will not make up to your day... hope this helps...
