How much traffic i can expect...............

Hi guys,

Can anybody tell me some figure if i am ranking on 1 keyword on top 5 ( on Google , Yahoo , MSN ).And that keyword have Monthly search volume of 1,00,000 . Then how much % of traffic that i will be receiving of this search volume ....anybody can help me to guess........................

Depends if the user is not satisfied then you have lot of traffic but if they are satisfied to all the links above you the better to optimize more

 

but there will be some % that we can expect that this amount of traffic we will be getting if we rank on this particular term of this search volume????? i mean what will be the no of clicks any guess??????????

it depends and no one can figure that out.. try to put some statistics in your site like google analytics or statcounter code to see how much traffic you have every day and you will also see there the traffic of the keyword that you are talking about.

 

Well first of all i would, if Ovt do not show 100% correct data. Lets say if OVT shows 100 searches/mo , that means in reality there are only 70 searchs/mo.
IF you are on top 5 for a term that is gettin 100 searches/mo . Then its hard to predict how many visitors will you get from that because, If users like your title and descriptions than only he/she'll click on your website to visit. if you have spammy title/description, no one would really click to see your website.

So title/description attracts visitors, henceforth it should be taken care alot

 

There is no real way to determine it. It depends on a few factors such as the keyword, audience, whether your site gets authority, and what text is displayed with your site. If it is a good keyword, then the effort you put into getting that ranking will usually always pay off.

 

yeap, you cannot accurately determine it, if your keyword is that competitive and if your site is worth clicking, then chances are, you'll get good traffic and returning visitors.

 

I am not asking exact visitors i was just asking as there are very Good SEO experts here so may be they have this kinda knowledge from their previos site thats why i was just asking any guess of % whether its 50 % of the search volume or any figure that you guys have observed...............

 

i think you will get nearly %5 of the search volume
