Title pretty much says it all just how much traffic does froogle get. I feel like many people do not know about it. Am I wrong in my assumption? Can anyone provide some reliable stats on froogle and how successful it is or isn't? I work for a company that has over 20 thousand products and i am interested in froogle if i know that the return on the time investment would be worth it. any insight here would be greatly appreciated i look forward to your feedback thanks
Froogle, from a merchants perspective no longer exisits. Google Base has replaced Froogle and now allows you to not only submit products, but just about anything under the sun. Your question can be answered by looking at who IS listing on Google Base/Google Products. Sears, JC Penney and all major retailers have been using the free service since its inception as Froogle, and still use it today. See: http://www.google.com/products?q=shop:+sears&btnG=Search+Products Or, our own Sutters Creek Gifts listings: http://google.com/base/search?q=sutters+creek+gifts&btnG=Search+Base To make full use of the service, you need to upload your feed EVERY three days for results to appear across the entire Google network. If you upload once a week or month your products will ONLY appear on Google Products.
