If sponsored link (position 1-3 at Google AdWords) brings 1-3 clicks a day from search network, what do you think how much traffic brings 1st organic result for those keywords?
No, I think it should be more. Like 2 to 6 or something. Organic SERPS get clicked on more often than ads do.
It should be more, definitely Users click on the results more than the sponsored links.. at least that's for me
it depends on which type of users are they. Are they webmaster? If they are, may be the organic SERP link will get more clicks. Otherwise, it may be not. how much sites returned for that particular keyword? may be you can get do better with real SEO to have your site appears on the first page.
well, through my experience with adwords. very disapointing. i start bid with 0.50. gets none of the clicks on first week. i have up to 10 keyword later increase the bid to 1.99 dolar per click. guess what i getting. less than 5 clicks of the 5000 impression. well, generated 0 sales. from server report... the visitor left so quickly. i dont think its a target visitor. likely is those fall into traps of the adsense content website. accidentally clicked the links, and they get back to the site after notising. totally waste of money. so i quit after 30 days.
Ough, charlesgan thanks for sharing your expirience. Now I think I know. CTR on first sponsored results are usually 2-10% and on first organic 48%. It seems to be approx. 5-25x times more on organic results.
I have no idea as i dont have sites that rank top 3 on good keywords. Maybe somebody here with good serp result for good keywords can share the stats/
depends on the phrase... in some cases its more in some cases its less......in the end on if you weigh the total amounts of clicks for all keywords (theoretically ofcourse), on average I believe it should be almost the same. cheerz
