I have analyzed the recent traffic I've got from the social networks like StumbleUpon, Reddit and the others and got the numbers here:

I believe, many of you have the similar and much better results. May be, you have some thoughts on this topic... C'mon guys, show your stats!

You did receive tons of traffic from social bookmarking sites, congrats for that..
I didn't receive much as I'm the only one who submit my blog to social bookmarking site.
Don't have detailed traffic, but I have an image which imagine how much traffic stumbleupon gave me :D

That's an incredible amount of traffic.

Is it converting into sales, subscribers, or any call to action for you?

I'd be interested in hearing how you obtained that much traffic for sure.

Unfortunately, my experience is confirming what was said long before (a lot of time by a lot of people): Social Networks traffic converting very bad. Average PPC CPM on that traffic is $0.50 (sometimes up to $1.5). No more than 0.5% of the visitors are subscribing to the RSS feed.

    Quality content.

Also, avoid posting your own articles to Digg, Stumble etc. unless you have high powered account there (with a lot of friends, followers, karma raiting etc.)

Yeah, I tend to agree with you. Trying to build up your reputation on the social networking site takes too much time.

Wow, that's quite a bit of traffic. I guess it takes quite a bit of work and time. Congrats!

i dont really get excited with SU traffic that much. getting SU traffic is not hard, its just the quality of traffic that i'm concerned of. they usualy dont convert to anything and usually have a very high bouce rate

Well, at least you folks have learned something from this. You can get loads of traffic from Social Bookmarking Sites but they are not bees, they won't stay around and suck honey from your site. :)

Just stick to the good old search engines traffic. :)
