Ok Im trying to find a amazon product to promote but i was wondering what is the lease searches should my keyword for my product get a month, i was thinking of picking one that have 2400 monthly searches is that not enough, what do you guys think?
How much searches a month is the keywords everyone chooses, what is the lease of amount seaches for a keyword that you guys would choose? if that makes since
try to promote best seller product or seasonal product. for this time, toys is most wanted product that people looking for. don't worry about the keyword search, as long as the product is best seller, you can make sales everyday, just like me. For example, I sell barbie and other toys who have price more than $100.
You should just promote what you know and are passionate about. You can make a lot of money with an unpopular item simply because you have no competition.
Well I just figured you want your website to generate a good amount of traffic to sell a good amount of your product
It depends on how much work you want to put in to promote your website. You have to work more if you are targeting popular keywords because of the competition. For me, over 2000 exact searches a month is acceptable (also depending on how much the item is selling for) but then don't expect sky high commission with that kind of search volume either.
Make sure it is exact match first for a specific keyword. You should be looking at about 3000 searches per month, but also the possibility of other keywords. If it is a niche where people only search on one keyword, and there aren't many searches for it then it might not bring you enough traffic to justify. On the other hand if it has low searches but there are lots of alternative keywords that you can also rank for, it could be worth it. Basically - it is down to the niche.
well whats the differets between exact and broad when people searches exact does that mean they put the "" around there keywords?
it just means that people typed in that exact phrase in that exact order. Using a combination of exact and phrase is usually the best way to go, don't put too much weight in broad. Also make sure to actual plug the keyword into google and check out the quality and page rank of the top sites, not just look at the numbers in the keyword tool. I made that mistake on my first site and the traffic has been coming in but very slowly. Also if you can try to pick a product niche that has multiple models and also accessories that go with it, the accessories can be huge for increasing the total sale.
