Yeah, 10k sounds much more reasonable than 1k. I know it can depend a lot on the niche (and personally I'm not familiar with the online money making payout), but you'll definitely need to make at least 10k uniques a day on top of a fairly good clickthrough rate I would imagine.

What exactly are you talking about?

I am making $70+ per day with one website, in one niche, that gets about 100 targeted visitors per day. Period.

Well that's good for you. I mean that genuinely. But I thought we were talking about generalities here and not outliers. $70/day from adsense with only 100 uniques a day is not normal production.

I suppose if they were highly targeted users (as you mentioned) then it's certainly feasible, but it's not a realistic expectation for many I would imagine.

    ...that isn't using Adsense.

There are far easier ways of making money online (with much less traffic) than Adsense.

    Look into CPA/affiliate networks instead.

Oh my mistake. You're absolutely right. I had two tabs open at once! I thought I was in the AdSense section :)

ad copy and ad placement plays a vital role as well. you could have 10,000+ visitors, but if your product is crap or if your ads aren't placed correctly, then just forget it. (don't really forget it, just keep adjusting).

Well, if you have a product that costs $19, with 1% conversion rate, then every 100 targeted visitors would get you $19, meaning 200 would get you $38. 200 per day equals 6000 visitors monthly.

If your product costs $37, then you'd need close to 3000 visitors with 1% conversion.

But if your conversion is 0.1%... then 10x these traffic amounts.

Yeah it totally depends upon the niche and how you've placed ads.
