How much traffic could a PR 6 bring you

Hey I was thinking about buying a link on a PR 6 site on the home page for about 50 dollars.....I was wondering what sort of traffic I could be looking at and is it worth it

 

PR has worth for your site , but it doesn't mean that PR6 site will bring traffic to your site. You just check tarffic stat of PR6 ...

PR has nothing to do with Traffic ... check the traffic stats of the site to get an estimate on how much traffic you will recieve .

 

And the traffic you'll get from that site also depends on the link placement.

 

well PR means the higher they rank in SE so therefore they should have higher traffic and then if you get a link on a higher PR it will equal higher traffic is that not the case?

 

Think of PR as a representation of the amount of links or high quality links a website has pointing to it.

 

Still guys relates PR with Search Rankings and Traffic. High PR doesnt means high rankings on search engine. High PR can help in gaining SERPs but just because a site got an PR of 6 it cannt rank high on the basis of that.

 

Who told you that the higher PR means the better SERP's?

 

pr6 will give you a very strong backlink, and it will increase the value of the anchor text. the text hiperlinked from the pr6 site.

trafic is very different from pr, a lot of unique content and backlinks will increase your pr, but it dosenot mean that you will have a lot of traffic because of that. [optimize the wrong keyword and you will get no traffic ]

 

right way will give you a good traffic by a PR6 link.it all depends on you strategy .so,the traffic may be(0 - 1000+)

I would NEVER buy a link for traffic purposes. It doesn't work that way. If you want traffic from a PR6 you should have an ad or banner. You will have to contact the company and see if they are willing to place a unique ad for you that has both SEO value and can bring people in.

 

If the site linking to you isn't relevant, it may pass PR but will do nothing for importance (value) or SERPS. Unless you are going to sell links, forget about PR.
