How much traffic can you get from directories

In fact ratio of traffic can only be increased by well planed SEO parameters. The importance of directories submission should not be ignored. The directories submission has a great role for page rank. Article, Blogs, Manual Book Marking and Form Posting etc. are the main factors to increase the traffic.

 

i cant get much traffic to my directory, atleast traffic that sticks too it.. Any tips

 

It depends on the directory where you submitted it. I prefer to buy a featured link on good PR directory. At least it has yielded me good results.

There are many ways to get traffic from various tactics. we need to be more particular of the submission page. submit your website to those directories which some good page rank. PR means not for home page rank should be for which you have selected the category.

Select the category page which has page rank and then submit your website.

 

Directory submission is only to get the backlinks through that site PR as well the ranking also increase.

To get the traffic there are lots of social media sites like Facebook,Twitter,Linkedin so that increase the traffic.

 

But craft directories don't allow general category website submission.Such directories are very selective while choosing site submission.They only allow craft sites to be submitted

 

Best way to get traffic is to submit to as many high page rank directories. There are many directory submitter software around to make it easy and fast to submit.

PR can gives you the traffic how, Can you explain me?
You are saying that the page which has good PR can give traffic to you submitted link but what is the guaranty that page has traffic too in proposition to PR.
While PR comes from the Links not

 

I think it can bring you some traffic but you can't rely only on this type of traffic.

 

Directory submissions are ideal for backlinks, although if you submit to the top directories and pay for your submission you can get some decent traffic, other than that... they are great for getting backlinks...

 

From DMOZ not receiving at all, from some Canadian directory receiving few visitors a day.
I don't thinks directories are for traffic, they more used for SEO, which now also not really works.

 

You can not get traffic form directory site. may be you get some traffic from directory but It little and depends on Directory sites. if you need more traffic from directory so I will suggest you don't waste your time. You can try Articles, Pr, Forum, Yahoo answer, Social book marking for traffic.

 

I agree with skyinfo. Becoz directory submissions only getting backlinks from directories. This process is very slow depends on directory webmasters.
