How much traffic can you get for a keyword searched 1,000 times a month?

    If your #1 ranking in google, you will suggest 40-50% of searches, that mean you can expect about 500 visitors in month...18 in a day...

    1,000 searches a month? even if it was #1 ranking, it wouldnt be worth the effort. Take up a new niche.

    I dont think you can get enough visitors. 1000 monthly search is nothing. You will hardly get 10-15 visitors for that specific keyword. Because people will not search this keyword the same number of times every month.

    Depends on the niche. Some have very high paying clicks. I'd rather go after a low volume KW with a high payout than a very high volume KW with 0.02c per click.

    It depends upon the search engine position for that particular keyword..If it is on first page you can expect about 50% of peoples..

    I have to agree with MrRed, you really got the point mate. Anyway, a bit fun no1 says nothing about the % of traffic SEM gets off the total volume :X

    I wouldn't exactly say that 1000 monthly searches is nothing. Out of those 1000, I'm sure a handful of them are going to stick around and become daily readers of my website (we publish new content on a daily basis).
