How much traffic can one expect from posting in Craiglist and other similar classified ad websites?

I am sorry to say but your question is to vague...

I am sure that if you post a Car for sale you will get less views than posting something like:

"Horny hot Chick looking for NSA Sex tonight"...

It depends what city you post to, which category, what EXACTLY you are promoting as well as the actual content of your ad...

Cars do get decent amount but not as horny chicks right :)
As far as i know kijiji does not allow hyperlinks. The best i have seen on my niche was like 650 visits from a post until it is flagged/expired. The posts with links usually get flagged in a couple of hours though, and affiliates are strictly disliked.

You can post here Free Advertising and set your ad time to never expire, and if you upload a site logo or pic with your ad it will show randomly for life.
You can use live links as well. If you dont get alot of traffic at once you will get free traffic for life! :D

I think what you are selling will play a huge factor. I have a ticket sales website (better-tickets.com) that I get quite a bit of traffic using craigslist. But I alsoh ave recently opened priceasite.com and I don't think that Craigslist would be very beneficial for it.
