I want to know what is the max number of unique visitors that I can expect if I use all the free methods of promoting a website like using social networking, classified sites, article marketing etc (working 5 hours per day)

Anybody, experienced or not, can tell you it all depends on the quality of your work. Or how smart you work, not how long.

Its really hard to predict exactly how much traffic you can expect. It all depends on how much of each method you do and how effective you are at those methods.

There is no such thing as how much maximum traffic you can get... Think about this - Garbage in Garbage out... I agree with the above two comments. It all depends on your work and the constructive nature of your marketing techniques.

You need to ask yourself what kind of numbers do you want and then work from there.

From article marketing, around 100 or less visitors.. For paid ppc, maybe around 500 hits a day. Stay away from pop under ppv sites.

It not depends on how long time you spend but how good you are
If you are good enough, you can get more than 10k UV per day by using the method mentioned

Before building backlinks, check the competition of the Top 10 results. Build only if you think you can beat them, otherwise you might just be wasting time and effort.

Many statistics say that position #1 can expect slightly above 42% of clickthrough, position #2 close to 12%, and position #3 close to 8.5%.

So if you get to position #1 you can expect to more than triple the traffic compared to staying in position #2.

I hope these figures were what you were looking for.

When it comes to traffic, the sky is the limit. There are so many variables - your niche, your targeted keywords, the competition, etc. The biggest wild card in all of this is you. You say you're putting in 5 hours a day... what are you doing? What kind of content are you churning out? If you're publishing stuff that's unique and compelling, you can expect alot more traffic than if you are publishing content that isn't any good.

As everyone here has mentioned, there are simply too many factors involved to provide you an effective response. There popularity of the niche you are targeting, the quality of your seo work, as well as the sheer volume of articles you publish related to your offers will all impact your outcome.

    Best of luck to you!
