How much traffic can a website get without Ads?

    I get a lot more than 1000 uniques to some of my sites each day - and I don't use PPC at all.

    Is link building to be included in "advertising"?

    I don't think I have any site that has got visitors without link building.

    And i had sites getting 5k/daily

    SE traffic is a powerfull tool

    I always buy some banner ads and do some link exchange for traffic purpose .
    But the effective method is seo/ranking .

    What methods do you use ?

    Submitting to digg with 'less competitive but most searched keywords' is my technique. Zero cost more visitors. :)

    Link building is the most common way to attract visitors to your site.

    Ads do help in making your site visible and you should employ its services if your budget allows it; but if you cannot, one can also live and live well... without it...I guess! :)

    It is possible to get a lot more traffic than this, without any ads. But it involves hard work. So, you need to decide if ads are more profitable for you or if you can spend quality time promoting your site.

    You need to get real links from other sites. You dont get much traffic from those site but your improve your ranking in google.

    I don't use ads. Then again, I don't get that many visitors either. I guess it just depends how much work you put into it.
