How much traffic are you getting per day.

Normal conversion rate is around 3% with respect to the visits made. Do some mathematics to calculate how much traffic you need based on the sales target you may have.

 

Well,not very high,only 1000 per day.But it's still developing.

 

The rule is 100 unique visitor for a sale. But some people do better, and againyour product can affect your conversion rate too.

Work on getting 700 unique visitors and you will be just fine.

I agree. If you have a bunch of traffic, but it doesn't convert into any $ then it's kinda pointless to have a bunch of traffic. I would suggest doing some market research and seeing what would create more conversions for you.

700 is a lot to get per day! i think you should try to sell a clickbank product to them.

 

On average, my site gets about 500 unique visitors a day.

I didn't read the rest of this thread HOWEVER to answer the OP's question it really depends on the site you have and your niche. Additionally what are you trying to make money off of? Adsense? CPA offers? Are you actually selling your product? Or for that matter where is your traffic coming from. Is it free? Or is it coming from PPC? Because if it's the later you have to factor that into the equation as well because you aren't really making money if you're paying more than you're bringing in.

As for how much I'm bringing in? Well I have quite a few sites so depending upon the site anywhere from 200-15,000 views a day. I've been doing this quite a while.

 

Oh, about 10 to 20 pageviews a day. haha. Just started this past Sunday however.

There's really no such thing as "the best niche", and in fact I would say that tech news is actually quite saturated.

 

It really does depend on your niche. As an example anything in the financial niche tends to pay much higher commissions, so even with a smaller amount of traffic (500 visitors daily) you can still earn a good monthly income. Some niches simply do not pay well at all whether it is with adsense or affiliate programs so even a lot of traffic may never pay well.
