How much traffic is good enough to be making a bit of cash. Will 700visitors/day be enough to get something going? How much are you guys getting and are you earning a descent amount from that volume of visitors?
I'm getting a fair amount of traffic .. about 25000 visits/day. The earning depends upon many perimeters .. the niche of your site, the traffic and from where the traffic is coming, which ads network you're using and how much you've optimized it etc etc. With your traffic and using Google Adsense, provided you have a good niche, you should be earning a dollar or two a day. It's only my guess.
i receive around 7-10000 uniques a day and earnings are around $1000+ from that, either from my adsense or affiliate programs
WOW... those are some pretty big numbers. I better get crackin at this. All i need is 2 sales a day from a 10$ affiliate product and I'm good. I'm hoping to get to that in the next 2 months. hopefully ... that don't require a million visitors...
Its a good question. It certainly depends on your site. Forums and mostly content sites where your relying on banner/adsense clicks needs quite a few. 500+ in my experience. Product/service site where your text-linking aff links could be a very modest number - right around 100 UVs per day can yield $10 - $20 a day easy...that's $300 - $600 a month, enough to pay most peoples car payment. Its all about your site and your conversions. If you are relying on Banner Clicks...you will need some good numbers. If you have great content that adds value to the user, the product, site...ect you are trying to get them to click on, you can get high conversions on small traffic.
I get around 1000 hits per day but get nothing from my adsense acount. Is there anyway to monetize traffic?
It doesn't matter how many visitors/hits you're getting per day. What matters is "Conversion". How many visitors to your website are really convinced by your offer and willing to buy your product. You really need to focus on "Traffic/Conversion" ratio instead.
How many unique hits do you get, though? And in what timeframe. Sites starting off will of course have little traffic as opposed to those who started when the Internet came along. Nice stats though.

I get 10-50 visitors per day for my China business news website and 2-5 sales per month. I should work harder
I have just started. But I m quiet sure to get good traffic. And thats not very long. But I hope that all of us here should get good traffic.
