How much to sell an ad spot for on my forum?

    I have a forum that generates over 600 uniques per day with over 6,000 page views per day. A dating site is asking me how much I charge for a banner at the top. any ideas as to what I could charge here?

    Well I'm not sure. They went as far as to buy a textlink on my forum via adbrite. I don't want to turn around and say "hey, yeah $1000 a month" in case they get scared. Anyone have any experience in this?

    hmmm CPM is not ideal here. you can ask for a specific price like $100-200 per month or something.
