How much to pay for the resell right of a low gravity CB product?

I want to buy the resell rights for this CB product it has a very low gravity.... the owner wants me to offer a price, how much should I start?

Depends on the product i'd imagine. It would be hard for anyone to give you advice based on what you have told us so far.

 

depends on the product, the market, how bad his landing page is, competition....we cant tell you to propose something if we dont even know what product you are talking is about.

 

Is it an e-book or software?
How many pages is the e-book? / How complex is the software?

Of course the easiest way to determine a starting price would be to ask how much did he make from the product in 2007.

 

we need more information like
- what is the niche
- is there any product in the niche doing well
- is his sales copy good
- why does he want to sell it

this is what I know:

1. it's in dating niche
2. it's an ebook
3. the sale page is HORRIBLE. the salepage needs works bad.
4. the gravity for this product is under 0.15

from the gravity you can tell the owner didn't sell many copies... I purchase the ebook and think it's interesting...

btw, I was the one approach the owner with the idea purchasing his site & product and he told me to make an offer..

 

I would want to know:

1) when did he introduce his product to the market place?
2) is he selling it any place other than CB?
3) sales stats (and proof) from all sources since he started selling it

If you get the feeling he wants too much $$$ you could always rewrite your own ebook using a slightly different slant and make your own sales page etc., especially since he's got such a low gravity.

 

1) the site was up in Apr of 2007, so it's been around a year
2) the owner hasn't selling it anywhere else beside clickbank
3) this product has less than 20 sales so far
