    Hi2all! :)

I need to do a few thinks on my site, but I don`t know how, so I want to hire a coder, but I dont know how much is the job worth... :)

I want to start an avatar site www.avatarji.net and I need that the users can see the animations on the index page and the categorie page too...

    For example this avatar: http://www.avatarji.net/show.php?cat=Risanke&sub_cat=Anime&img=anime-animated-74

I want that the animation will be seen on the index page and the categories page too.

So, how much shud I pay that the job will be done.

I am a programming nood, so I cant realy do it alone.

    Thanks for your time! :)

I wouldn't pay more than 150 USD for the whole thing and i'm sure there are people willing to do it for less. You should post it as a project on a freelance site like scriptlance or rentacoder . email me if you want to hire me for this position.

Most jobs are based off an hourly rate. So if it takes someone 10 hours to do your project and he charges you $15 an hour, thats $150 total.

I charge $30 an hour but jobs usually take me 1-3 hours because I have lots of experience.

i was giving the maximum that someone would charge for it, you will definitely find people who are willing to do it for 50 or even 20.

The problem about ppl willing to do jobs fora few bucks, is that often the do not know very much what they are doing and could drive things bad.
Sometimes paying less cost more in the middle term.
I guess this job is on the $120 to $125 range.

i completely agree with cormack2009 , i've seen some people post 10$ bids on ebay clones . Sometimes they just dont completely understand the requirements so be careful.

    tip:
    - Hire somebody who already did this sort thing and can reuse some of his previous work. this can save hem time and you money.
    - Ask them what they did and check if its match you needs. this can save you disappointment at the end.
