I have a new site up thats been online for about 2 weeks. im going to wait til the word gets out a little more before i start charging for advertising, but when im ready...how much are typical ad blocks per thousand impressions? also, is there a way of managing these ads so i dont have to manually change them out? preferably something i just put the graphic in and tell it whn to appear type of thing.

thanks for any help. its been buggin the crap outta me

good luck selling ads with cpm now-a-days. Its prety much dead unless you have some insanely large website. To answer your question, there is a tool that can rotate and place the ads for you. Just search banner rotation script in google.

You should have no trouble finding one

    Hope this helps

I would say $1.00-$3 per CPM. This can be very different depending on your niche. For instance if you are in a myspace graphics/tools niche then probably .50-1.50 per cpm but if you were in health-care or a "luxury" niche then 2-5 dollars CPM. I partnered with a large media company for one of my entertainment websites to get a very high CPM since they had the advertising staff to seek out large advertisers but to do this you must be very established in your niche. My other websites in the higher paying niches actually pull a better eCPM with Adsense then they do with any premium CPM company that has approached me.

It depends on the site that you are advertising with. You can never set your own price.

If they could pay $1.00-$3 per CPM, I will make 20 such sites .
If I have only 1000 impression, that is possible to have $60 a day . wonderful .

If you had 20 very high quality sites that is. The one premium company I am working with has A LOT of restrictions as far as where the ads can be placed and the type of traffic I am bringing in such as they want to maintain the majority of traffic to be from US, UK, and Canada.
