How much to charge for ad space?

    I want to advertise on a vbulletin forum that has about 35,000 members. Can anyone give me an idea on what to offer monthly for header ad space?

    It really depends on their ACTIVE users and traffic they actually get. Best thing to do is just ask them what they would charge.

    Advertising cost is about PERCEIVED value, not the actual value. If you were advertising in a forum that ONLY Bill Gates read, what would that be worth?

    If you are wondering on the cost of advertising in a forum like that, compare the costing to adwords. What would the cost be for click through?

    Depending on the focus of the website I charge between 0.01 EUR per unique view up to 0.20 EUR per unique view . It's a massive headache to get direct contracts but it's as profitable as it gets when it comes to constant income .
