    Hello,
I run a website and have been asked if i will sell a photo from the website to a company producing a math study guide. (the photo was taken by myself).

I was just wondering how much to charge as i have never been asked about this before?

    Thanks

    Late

I depends up to you really, but don't expect to make big money selling one photo.

well, first off you should NEVER sell a photo - just licence it's useage.

The price you set should be based on the usage.

Now, on face value, guessing the intended use, you would probably licence it for say 10K maximum print run in their specified publication for around the $70-120 mark.

There are a lot of place you can find out about licencing image usage - check out the real stock sites, not the micro's

Everything depends on the type of photo you are selling. The quality of the photo should be professional.Everything, such as pixel image, water mark and other terms has to be taken into consideration while creating a value for your photo that you intend to sell.Just have a look at www.fotolia.com
