No I worked very hard at trying to make money. My problem was that if I didn't make money right away I would consider the product rubbish I brought and move onto the next one and see if it helps me make money. I fell in to the group of people who thought it would be as easy as putting up a webpage and everyone come flocking to it and it would make me millions. Fortunately I stuck with it and eventually I learnt that every product teaches the same steps but in different ways. Now I do quite well out of making a living online through both Clickbank and CJ and realized that I find it easy because of two reasons,: 1. Repeated steps become easier and easier, less time for work more for play . 2. Your making money for yourself, not someone else.
Within the 1st day, I got my first sale but it is no indication of whether your site will do well or not.
It depends on your marketing strategy. If you're using PPC or adsense you get traffic quickly. If you ork just on SEO and organic traffic (free and highly targeted) it may take longer. I just focus on organic trafic of my webpages and don't use PPC or other marketing techniques. I made my sale aoround 6 weeks after seeting up my first landing site. After a while it became quiet. So I fixed and optimized my pages. You learn on every step you take!
I sold my first subscription to The IM Advantage program the 3rd day after I wrote some articles about it. It's been 2 weeks now and I'm up to 8 sales off those articles. Pretty cool.

I made one landing page on Squidoo, wrote 2 articles and submitted to EZA. It took me around 5 days as I was not putting too much efforts. Ezine approved my articles 5 days later and after two days of that I saw my first sale. So it took me 12 days to see my first sale.
When I first got into it I bought some domains name and did some backlinking to them. Then I did some PPC to ClickBank review pages. Nothing seemed to work so I left it all alone. Then - I logged into my clickbank account after 3 weeks and I had made $108 in commissions. What I was doing was working - I was just not realizing it. WOOT!
"The Fat Burning Furnace". Lame, lame, lame. It was PPC to a review site, drop the cookie and offer a bonus. After my review site I'd send them to the order form ($4.97). That book had a nice upsell - the commissions were nice - like $50+.
