It depends. It all depends on what project I'm working on and what sites. Usually only an hour or something a day. Managing the fan pages and getting back to customers doesn't take too long and you don't have to spend too much time advertising on them to get traffic. That's the beauty of social media.

I spend 5 hours atleast per day . But sometime spend too much time on social network will become bored which you might be over update latest news and you have nothing to search on. So i will to reduce the time on social network and find something else to work on it . I think of getting a social media autopost software or tools to help me post Facebook and twitter time to time so i do not need to spend too much time on social media.
According to research Social networking sites now reach 82 percent of the world’s online population, representing 1.2 billion users around the world. Particularly telling of social networking’s emergence is the amount of time people spent on sites such as Facebook, Orkut, or VKontakte. As a percentage of all the time people spend online, social networking activity has more than tripled in the last few years. In October 2011, Social Networking ranked as the most popular content category in worldwide engagement, accounting for 19 percent of all time spent online.Nearly 1 in every 5 minutes spent online is now spent on social networking sites – a stark contrast from when the category accounted for only 6 percent of time spent online in March 2007. I usually spent 3 to 4 hours. is not that great?
I am Social Media Specialist and it requires me to stay pretty long on many social media sites. I have to schedule these ones and monitor the progress of each. Honestly, I sometimes feel tired of focusing my eyes too much on the screen. You can say that I am dealing with them 8hrs/day. Isn't it bad?
