I don't know how it works over there. Sexual favors, doughnuts, money, who knows?

DMOZ generally does not approve yet another websites, but it also does not send a rejected notification because it has no reason for denying the submit. I approves large websites very comfortably and quickly.

You are correct, however, editors have said that the submission queue is not only optional, but that some editors prefer not to use it. How is that really any different then saying don't bother to submit? When it comes to a category where the editor does not bother with queue, then how is not submitting any different then submitting?

Likewise, for a category that an editor does check the queue, there are other editors that do not, that could possibly find it in another location and add it anyway.

    So who is right here?

    Submit & Forget!
    Forget 2 Submit!

There is pretty much the same average wait time...

For those of you who have actually been indexed. What was your average wait time?

I listed one site myself, the wait time on that was still over a month!

I have another site that is listed, but erm, I didn't suggest it.

Officially there is no official time though, and if you take my example, or the example of any other that posts, your mileage will still vary.
