    Hello guys,
1 month ago I started one site. It's with brand new domain and I started building backlinks too! I already managed to get around 100-150 backlinks via Directory submission.

my keyword is in domain, my keyword is in description but still it's not even in top 100 in google?is there any reason? the competition is also low so in my point it should be at least on first 10 pages but it's not!

    Can anybody comment on this?

    Hi

Only backlinks will not get your website into google. You also need traffic and search friendly website code

    Hi,

In my own experiences, directory submission would not work so effective as it used to be since you could not setup anchor text when performing directory submission. Article submission, blogging, blog commenting, forum posting would be more effective, especially contextual backlinks from niche relative authority sources.

    all the best,

Could be because of competition, maybe your keywords are over-exploited, but as long as you work hard, you will get there :)

    Cheers!

but is there any chance for a 1 month or less, highly targeted (say 250+ backlinks from it's keyword) with less competition but still good search volume site gets ranked quickly? or it need some time! well I also have some profile links+comment links with my keyword as anchor text and I am working with phpbb so no problem with coding!

You should know how competitive your keyword is I think.

i usually get my site indexed in a couple days
quickest way is to submit it to a couple social sites (digg, delicious, etc) and add your site to google's webmaster tools

I guess the main problem is one month and 150 backlinks.

The first problem is probably because Google likes keywords inside the content and not just keywords. For example, I have a keyword in a title and every 5th sentence of the article itself. I don't know how good you are, but I think you weren't able to write at least 100 appropriate articles (around 4 paragraphs) in just a month...

The second problem is that Google likes qualitative backlinks. Again I don't know how lucky you are, maybe all of these 150 directories have high PR. However, in other case you are in problem. Basing on my own experience, it is better to have a good backlink with one site, instead of 10 "bad" sites.

Submit the site and site map to Google webmaster tool, if you have not done so. It will help the site to be index fast in Google.

Stay calm and wait for some more time patiently, your website could take more time to come under 10 pages shown on google. You should also go for some more marketing techniques and regularly update your site with good content, it is very much necessary.
