Can anyone provide additional information on blog walking and how it affects establishing Page Rank? What are the factors involved? Does the higher update rate on the content help your traffic and/or inbound linking in any way? Please share your strategies... Thanks!

Just make sure you update very often. One of my sites took almost 2 months to show up.

You can turn the grey into white depend on the activity of your sites.
I usually get it on my first weeks.

If you want higher than PR0, work at building links from other pages that have PR.

Still SEO is a continuous process like what I said, you have to do it all over again, and again.
Content, Aging, and Link exchange, may help you a lot.

First, you'll need to submit your site to Google, and keep track until you saw google already indexed your site.

Second, just wait for google update, and you'll see PR for your site. My recommendation is, don't aim for PR0. You should aim higher, and build backlinks as many as you can.

Thanks Guys! My blog's PR is now 0. I've already made more than 1000 of backlinks. Any idea how many backlinks i've to get maximum of PR5.

It is depend on how hard work you are in link building, the greater work you did, the higher PR you gain. Wait for next PR update and see the result
