How much time Google takes to index a new website?

In my own experiences, it all depends. Generally speaking, new sites would be indexed more promptly if they get backlinks from high PR (above 6) sources. Of course, putting your homepage links in your tweets would also helpful for this purpose.

I am not sure if its the wordpress add ons I have got or the great domain name. I have some unique content but not alot. I have done a bit of seo but am a total newbie at it. My site managed to get indexed within a day. Will have to try again on another site.

 

it depends upon the content. for me, it took couple of days for one of my site and another for 2+ weeks. for quick index, you need link your site to a page which is already indexed in google. (that is the secret. lol)

Why does every so often my google links go to 0 on SEOQuake, does anyone else notice this

 

1 day 1 week 1 month. Depends upon the baclink and popularity.

 

Are the pages which are not indexed really "relevant" ... do they contain unique original content ??

Google never promises to index each & every page on a site ...
and from what I see some of your million pages are hardly worth indexing

 

It is totally depend on you, how you are promoting your site.
But If you get high PR BL then it will help quickly.

 

some time it take so long time but it is mainly depend upon links of the site. If the site links is good then it's indexed faster.
