It depends.. but if you got some decent content on your site, you don't need to worry about it, also remember to submit a sitemap to google.

A: Crawling and indexing are processes which can take some time and which rely on many factors. In general, we cannot make predictions or guarantees about when or if your URLs will be crawled or indexed. When looking at a site's indexing in Webmaster Tools, make sure that you have both the "www" and the "non-www" versions (like "www.example.com" and "example.com") verified and have a set a preferred domain. Keep in mind that while a Sitemap file can help us learn about your site, it does not guarantee indexing or increase your site's ranking.
Here is what I notice, when my blog has no PR, it took hours to index my posts, but since I have PR, it tooks minutes..
you just need to do all the on-page activities on your site.so the crawler will easily crawl your website in next 4 to 5 days once you have done with basic on-page activities.
It depends on your site. Create quality content and generate sitemap and robots.txt file and upload it on root directory. And add your site url on google.com/addurl . Thanks
From my recent experience, for a brand new site it's about 1-2 days. I didn't submit sitemap. Just added it through http://www.google.com/addurl/
i think it depends on the competition of that key word, high competition means take longer to index. Regards, Rich
Well, its not sure to say, but a proper optimization helps a lot in fast indexing. So, make sure that your site is well optimized.
It depends on how faster google inform about your webstie, blog or post. To index faster any of your new post, create backlinks & ping those backlinks using ping.fm.
XML sitemap is indeed a good help in fast indexing. You can also do social bookmark your website in popular SB sites like Digg.com It will also help your website get indexed fastly.
there is no such promised time frame, but many a times if some high PR sites are linking back to your sites U.R.L then you will get advantage and your site will be listed fast, submitting a site map (.xml format) also helps indexing issues, social networking sites like facebook, twitter are no doubt some good sources too
It depends, and no one can tell you the exact period. If you submit the sitemap in Google webmaster tool and bookmark your site in Digg, I think within a day or two your site will be indexed in Google.
The timing varies with different sites according to their backlinks and contents. But If you submit your XML site map to Google and your site have some good quality links then the site can be indexed within a week or a day.
