How much time for recover ranking using 301

    Hi All,

    I recently chances all my website inside dynamic pages to the static and also redirected old urls to the corresponding new ones. Please let me know by when can i recover my old ranking and page ranks for all my internal pages.

    It kinda depends on how search engines like google are crawling your site. I have done an static to dynamic conversion of a website this year and it seemed to take about a week for the process to complete. At first you might see your old links there, new both new and old and then finally you should only see your new links. The whole time I never lost my ranking on any of my key terms.

    Keep an eye on 401 errors and make new redirects if you happen to miss some pages or key images.

    It usually will take about 3 months to recover. Submit your new sitemap to google to speed the process.

    You may end up getting pages indexed with better URL's that were not previously indexed.
