How much time does it take for paypal to verify PAN card?

Hi,
I have created a new paypal account. It's been 2 days, the bank account has been verified but the account still shows "Limited Access" as PAN card verification is still in progress.

How much time does Paypal take to verify my PAN card number?

You Just Need To Add Pan Card No And Your Account Becomes Verified Instant.

 

In my case the account got the "verified" status when I confirmed my bank account with it. As of now it is showing "Limited Access" and when i click that it says "PAN Verification in progress". Hence my question, how much time does paypal take to verify pan number?

Send them an email with your PAN card image.

 

Already sent them an email. I have been told that my issue has been escalated. Weird problem this is.

This has nothing to do with my bank.

They never asked for it

 

Actually, they wont verify PAN Card like verifying your CC or bank account. If you enter your PAN number, it's enough. But you are saying something strange. So, just make a call to them.

 

I wrote them email on 2 occasions and they said they are reviewing my account and will get back to me soon. It's really annoying to see such problem.

 

Then you have to wait until they get back to you.

 

I guess so. I'll have to be a pain in the a$$ to get through this. This is really frustrating

 

Indian officials are lazy. They'll take their own time in verifying PAN info. Use the 'Contact Us' link and send another reminder.

 

This is really a pain for Indian users. Unnecessary wastage of time in verifying something information regarding which can even be accessed on Income Tax of india website. Really really sad.

 

Why dont you call Paypal via Skype and ask why it is asking so much time to verify PAN card?

 

I called paypal. They said, PAN card is verified by some 3rd party company which usually takes 3 days but can take much longer when volume is high. The representative was courteous enough to give me assurance that this issue will be resolved soon. No ETA was given though.

 

There are so man limitation on indian paypal users now.

 

No updates yet. Still with a Limited status account. Called paypal and they have requested me to be patient. Sigh. If this doesn't go through I'll opt for Bank Wire instead.

 

To verify pan card in case of paypal limited access it will take 24-48 hours to confirm it and get your account back

 

It has been well over 48 hours now. Anyway, the good news is my account has been fully restored now. Happy

 

I am facing the same problem. I opened my account almost a week back. But still the account is limited due to pan card verification still in progress. Don't know what''s the problem? Any ideas?
