Hi, I have a query I have started new business of SEO/Web development and I got a good project of Link Building of gambling website. 200 , PR2, PERMANENT, non-reciprocal,UK based Links. All links are submitted and pending for google to accept. Now its almost 2 months I am waiting for google to accept those links. How much time google takes to accept links? :(

Google won't necessarily report all of those backlinks. Google only shows a sample of a website's backlinks. Just because you built 200 links, it does not mean that all 200 of those links will show up in Google with the link:www.domain.com command. You should not be basing your project success based on how many new links Google reports. That is unfair to you. Instead you should just provide a report to this client with the exact urls and their PR.

You might got it wrong dude, as a service provider (Specially SEO Services) you should know that Google don't simply accept any links as they are not selling any!!!

However, If your asking about this one: (link:domainname.com) then you might need to get a Google Account and verify your client website in Google Webmasters Tools instep to check your backlinks there...

Otherwise you can use Yahoo Site Explorer to check the 1,000 of any website backlinks at any given time..

And properly you should start to read more or some quality seo tutorials online or hang on here in DP, you've been a member since almost a year now :)

Hope i was clear and help ;)

Vansterdam is correct. The best way to judge is by seeing if his/her SERPs have increased in the keywords that you targetted.

Giamatti is right...u shld not wait for Google to display the backlinks...yahoo explorer is the most accurate source to check backlinks...i know a site with over 5,00,000 backlinks in yahoo and only 13,500 in Google!...Google tends to hide its algorithmic data from competition and manipulators.

it depends on how often google crawl your site. To make it fast submit a sitemap and place your site in crowded places.

Google won't count all links. If the links are low-quality - from PR 0 directories for example - they may never count for anything.
