How much time does adsense take to approve?

I would like to know your experience as to how long Google took to approve you into Adsense.

And if the new year/christmas would bring about a change in the time taken or no?

It depends, but usually it does not take more than a few days.

 

Around 2 days but less than 3 days in general.

 

Can there be a possible delay due to the festive season currently going on?

 

Less then two days, but longer in the weekends. And with the holidays it will take longer I think.

 

And if in any case you are disapproved, do they write a mail saying that "You've been disapproved" or anything or just ignore your application?

 

Around two to three days for approval.

Around a week for non-approval notice.

I believe it takes them longer during festival seasons thou..

 

I have noticed that if you register with a gmail account, the approval seems to be shorted to 24-48 hours.

Just my experience though.

 

It took about a day for me - that was during the business week, so it probably is slower/not at all on the weekends/holidays.

 

It took about 6 hours for my site to be approved. I must be very lucky

 

I was approved overnight...

 

I was approved about 24 hours after signing-up...

 

It generally takes around 2-3days . But if you have applied recently then it was weekend + vacations , so may have to wait a bit .

 

only took me about a day! if you have a blogger account it can be quicker!

It may take at least 6 hrs to 6 days. I got approved within 6 hours (with gmail Id) and my friend got approved after 6 days (with hotmail ID). What Id is yours?

 

It took a day but that was summer 2004

 

mine only takes 3 days, back in 2005.

 

It normally takes about 2 to 3 workings days, but it can be faster some times. Just wait patiently.

 

My case is approved in 6 hours. I used my Gmail ID. May be the time I applied adsense approver is online .
