How much TIME do you spend on your directories?

Am thinking of computing a possible correlation between number of hours and the success of a directory. So, perhaps you guys can shed some light, HOW MANY HOURS/DAY DO YOU SPEND ON YOUR DIRECTORIES??

I know that it also depends on the number you have and the stage that they are in. So can you also indicate the number of directories you own?

Though I have more than 5 directories

I spend much of my time on only one directory

 

more than 24 hours /day

 

I am on 6-8hrs currently.

I do spend more than 14 hours online on week ends and mostly I am working on something that can help me Directory.

I think when you see that you are getting reward of your efforts, you tend to spend more & more time working on it.

Guess one of my objective is also to see if I can prove that working longer hours does not necessarily translate into more successful directories. Or does it?

I have been spending 14+ hrs/day after my directories during last 5 months since I became a directory owner. Currently, there are 4 of my directories online.

while I think --I have done enough for one, I am working on the development of the other. I'll keep on working it till I am satisfied. Deadline-- end of 3rd week of June.
Then I'll start on another ( only half-development). My ambition is to own 5 quality web directories by end of 2007 --with decent PR

 

I have been working only on Dream web directory for the past four months.
Now I have added two more directories, but I will not go over that. And I am still devoting 80% of my time do dream web directory.
It is much better to spend 4 hours on each of the 3 directories, than 2 hours on each of the 6 directories, if you work 12 hours per day.
Not losing your focus is very important.
You do not want to spread out your resources too much, because then you will have several average directories, instead of 1 or 2 really good ones.
And 1 or 2 good ones will make you more money than several average directories.

 

I don't spend it on the backend office, but advertising, Articles, Press Releases, yes 8hrs+ to get it done correctly.

 

Mate-- I am working on one directory at a time. I finished on one--working on the other. Plan to finish it at the ned of this month and take up another.

Well.. I have only one directory to fosus on therfore, I spend nearly 6-10hrs per day.

 

When I first decided to start a directory I didnt want to use any scripts of any kind so I did all the pages one by one(No seriously, some people still do that)... If you have ever made a directory with approximately 600 pages one page at a time you will appreciate how much work goes into it. I wouldnt dare to guess how many hours it took to set it up.

It now takes about 5 minutes per submission to update mine.
But I only have the one so I'm not that busy with it...

 

Less than one hour everyday, sometimes working a full day for my directories when I get a free day

I love to work for directories!

 

My full time job is 90 mins/day spread over 3/4 hrs I am trying to manipulate the authorities to allow me finish my duty in 3 hrs so that I get extra 1 hr

 

Nothing really, exept 15 mins a day to accept (reject) submissions.

 

6 hours or so ... promoting ... thinking about adding new stuff etc etc

 

More than four hours everyday.

 

International Business is 365/24/7 (you need human resources to do it)anything less and you are not maximizing the business potential

 

i just have 2 directories, and am giving them 4-6 hours a day!! i won't be increasing the number of directories, rather i will try to give more time and effort on both the directories!!
