To advertise a new website, how much should I spend on AdWords to see nice results? It would be my first time using AdWords, so I'm new.
it all depends on your niche and keywords and budget, its not as simple as saying spend $xxx and you will be top or make money or how long your ad will run for.
I agree with Keith115. No one can really put a price on that except you and your budget. Keep in mind, if you wish to pay advertise, it is going to cost you. Your keywords are EXTREMELY important. Do not use open broad keywords. Use them as exact as you can for the item you sell. For instance, if you sell Envy Me by Gucci Perfume, you do not want Gucci as a keyword. You would want Envy Me, Gucci Envy Me, Envy me by Gucci for examples. That will cut down on how many times your ad shows, but becomes more quality rankings (which cost you less). For instance, Gucci could cost you $2.00 a click, but one of the later examples I gave could cost you .05 cents per click if you ranking is high enough. If you have time and are willing to work at it, I strongly suggest FREE advertising. You can learn that at youfounditworld website. (that's a .com site). I spent $30 daily. First it seems a cheap method to advertise by pay-per-click. But at the end i found it expensive. Anyway my opinion is find yourself different methods to promote your site.
If you are testing, $10 per day should be good. Once you know which keywords work, you can scale to a few hundred dollars per day.
depends on ur keyword...some keywords are 10 a click... so get like 5-10 clicks a day that should be ok for a week.
Be comfortable spending up to $1000 for the first 3 months while you learn the system. You should be able to lower that monthly total over time (and keep similar positions) if youre using adwords correctly.
If your product is $200 and it cost you $100 for buy and $100 is your profit. So go ahead by keeping the budget in your mind. If it .80 or $1 per click then ok..just spend below $100 per day.
Make sure you start small and scale up. But it also depends on your niche and how competitive it is. Make sure you dont jump into Adwords blindly though, I've made that mistake and it cost me dearly. I would suggest to start with $10-$20 a day, but remember dont blow your budget in one week. Strecth your budget out over a few weeks so that you can get enough data to dissect. Hope this helps alittle.
yea Depends on your niche and if the adwords is working as what you want it to do. but try low competition keywords so you don't have to spend as much and still get the traffic.
Anywhere from $10-30 per day can be fairly effective depending on how you choose to deploy the ads. Increase the budget as you determine what works best.
