Hi there. I need a content writer for some blog posts but I don't know how much money to pay ! Original articles (about 200 words each). What do you think ?
1.5 cents a word, that how much you should pay. There are good writers for that price, 2 cents a word seems too much and 1 cent a word seems too low.
$0.015 per word or $3 per 200 words will buy you very basic content. You can expect rates to increase as you move up in quality. Remember - truly quality content is not just material that "passes copyscape" and is "grammatically correct." (This is really just asking for something rephrased from another site, which is mostly illegal, btw.) But if that's all you need for your project, you should be able to find something passable for that rate.
I would like to read some sample of your writing .. You seem to be an expert Do you have any sample somewhere on the Net ?
I have quite a few samples on my website portfolio and can certainly provide you with a few thousand more if you'd like. Many writers and webmasters deal in simple articles that are very similar to others out there. If you take an article and simply rewrite it, you're still using the original author's ideas. That's copyright infringement. Just changing sentences and words is a much more blatant form of copyright violation. If I took your site, made a duplicate and just changed a few words, I'd be stealing your design and ideas. The same it true of articles and content. While most of it at the lower level goes undetected (hence copyscape), it can come back to bite you if the original author contacts Google or another provider about copyright infringement, which is a violation of TOS. You can even lose your adsense account. Even ezinearticles is starting to crack down on this as much as possible. My point earlier was that most webmasters ask for "unique" articles meaning they pass copyscape. They usually don't realize (and nor do the writers who think $0.015 per word is the "going" rate for content outside of this forum) that they might be writing and then accepting plagarized work by asking for "rewrites" of anything other than a PLR article you've purchased with rights or your own material. In fact, you'd best be sure you're buying the copyright or any rights other than distribution from any writer you commission. Unless it's specifically stated, you might be only buying distribution rights of the article and not the right to modify the article in any way or to use a different byline. In short, if I pull up an article on widgits and "rewrite it," I'm plagarizing and in violation of copyright in the vast majority of cases. If I read the article and a few others to get a background in the subject of widgits and then work from scratch to create something truly unique that isn't just a revised version of someone else's work, I've actually produced a "real" unique article. As you can imagine, it takes much longer to research and prepare a brand new concept on widgits in an edited, interesting form than just changing sentences around. Therefore most who understand this certainly don't charge $6 an hour - unless they are compensating for other factors, such as poor grammar and unconventional usage of conversational English. Or it might be that they simply don't realize they are undervaluing their work. If you can find one of those writers, lock in a long-term contract because it won't take long before they burn out or wise up. HTH!
The price is depend on the quality of the article such as if it write by well known writer then it worth more than $10. While if the content is only write by new writer then the price is around $4
i think buy a article that never been assigned for 10$ is a good idea, with a multi-tags content whitch it can be visible on every search engine help you to gain much.
I think the average price for an article is around 0.010 - 0.015 per word. That would be around $3 per article your looking for which would be 200 words. It also depends on the experience and quality of the writer.
Starting thinking how much money an article can make you in terms of investment then let that dictate how much you want to spend from previous experience. Buy articles at real cheap to expensive and see what you can earn off them. I have spent anywhere from $5 an article to $100 article and it all depends on how much money I can earn back from that initial investment. Doing the same thing over an over leads to the same results.
$3 for 200 words??? oops... you will get only the crap! we are paying $15-20 for 200 words for our content writers.
In my personal opinion a writer’s wages are affected primarily by who they are catering to. I’ve seen pay scales for online writers from the USA from .01 per word (that’s $5 for a 500 word article) to .60 per word ($300 per 500 word article). Sure, in most cases the quality for a $300 article is better than the quality of a $5 article, as it should be, but I’ve seen $300 content writing that was outperformed by work from a $40 article writer. As far as averages go, though - for new writers in industrialized countries (USA, Canada, UK, Australia, etc) the pay scale seems pretty steady around $8-$12 per 400ish word article. Some new writers can get around $15 per article, though. For established writers the averages go up a bit - starting at around $20 per 400ish word article up to $35 per article.
