    Hi

We made a site and we want to get it to number one for 4 different keywords. I'm paying an SEO company £600/m and I am getting around 200 links a month with PR0-3..

After 7 weeks Im still not in the top 1000 on Google for any 4 of my phrases? Am i getting ripped off?

    THanks

    Adam

I would reevaluate that service. Do they give you reports on what submissions they do? For $600/ month you can get better service else where that for sure and get better rankings faster. It also depends on your keywords too. If its high volume it will take longer to rank

Depend on your keyword. By the way, 7 weeks is enough for you to get into first 10 pages.
Not sure what the seo company tell you, 200 PR0 to PR10 might not enough and the price is too expensive
Wondering what kind of link they are providing
600 per month is good enough to get more high PR quality link

Before tackling your off page SEO, did the SEO company do any on-page SEO?

From PR0 to PR3 ??? from my experience PR0 site are very very bad to get ranked fast.
I ranked my site 4th on GooGle and got PR1 in less than 1 mouth  without using any service, and by building less than 10 backlinks
    Go to .edu Backlinks bro

I think you to gain some knowledge on Seo field . For the best results in ranking first do good on page and after that off page . Your site will improve in search engine .

Some keywords take longer than others to get into the top 1000. However with 4 keywords you should of seen movement by now. Are those onpage PR links? If those are forum profiles, the person is really not doing their job.

Yes, the price does seem rather expensive, you also need to balance the price with service and how the person understands your SEO requirements, which is sometimes difficult on DP.

Well if they are taking 600$ per month, and site is still not even at 1000 index of Google, then its really bad. Ask them to send you reports on weekly basis and try to monitor their work yourself.

You paying £600/m is too high for 200 links a month with PR0-3..
After 7 weeks You still not in the top 1000 on Google for any 4 of your phrases.
I think an SEO company make you fool.

I think your paying too much from what they can actually do. If you want things done right, do it yourself.

SEO can be gleaned, besides it's always changing so what works now may not be the case in a year's time, if you join some of the busy SEO forums, you will learn all you need to know the same way as many of the "professionals"

It really depends on your keywords, if you fancy sending me your website URL, I'll happily take a look and let you know what I think, but without knowing your website URL/keywords, it's pretty hard to judge.
