how much should i offer for my name???

I kind of want to buy the .com domain associated with my name http://johnking.com its a nice domain and it was registered in 1999 which gives it some zing... I contacted the person in charge with the domain and he says he isn't interested in selling. What should I offer him to move towards the buy stage?

 

I don't think he will let it go for less than high 4 digit. Sound like he don't care about money
